Why Volunteer?

A body is made up of many parts that all have an important job to do. In fact, the only way a body can reach itʼs full potential is if each part reaches their full potential. We believe strongly that if you feel Faith is the place you belong then you have an important role to play in the body. The only way Faith Assembly Church will be able to make the impact in this community and the world that it is intended to make is if each member does their part. At Faith we have three basic beliefs about VOLUNTEERING:

• Every person has a gift to use for service- Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering Godʼs grace in itʼs various forms. (1 Peter 4:10)
• Every person has a place of service- God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as He wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. (1 Corinthians 12:18-20)
• Every person is more important than the task at hand- In other words, people are second only to loving GOD here at Faith. (Ephesians 4:11-13)
