Values spring forth from core beliefs and support the actions that'll produce results—good or bad.  Without values there is no bridge or guardrails to harness the passion needed to carry out the mission of the church.  With this image in mind we chose to list the top 5 values that support what we believe and help fuel our passion to see results.

Life Change

We will relentlessly pursue our city and world with the life changing gospel of Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:16-20
From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

We embrace and act on our need for one another to grow in the body of Christ.

I Peter 2:9-10
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.  Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. (ESV)

Intentionally shift from selfish to selfless.

Acts 20:35
In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ (NIV)

We seek to grow continually in our relationship with Jesus through applying the Word of God to our lives.

I Peter 2:1-3
So put away all malice and deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander. Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation—if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good.

Continually growing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

Luke 2:52
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. (NIV)
