Going Public: Baptism Sunday

Going Public is our version of Baptism Sunday. We believe that water baptism is the outward display of an inward commitment. It is because of this that Going Public is more than just part of a service, but it is a celebration… “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light,bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill” (Matthew 5:14 The Message) Going Public is your chance to love GOD out loud!

During our Going Public service, we use pre-recorded video testimonies to you give you an opportunity to share your story, and go public with your faith. We are thrilled to be able to join with you in celebrating this next step.

Our next Going Public service will take place on January 29 during The Experience. On that day, you should plan to meet in the Sanctuary at 9:30 for a brief orientation with one of our staff pastors. Please make sure that the clothes you are going to be baptized in are dark colored (no dresses or skirts please) and that you have a towel with you.
